There are several zones open for tourism such as Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Dhikala, Durga Devi, Phanto, and Sitabani

4. What is the best time to visit Corbett Tiger Reserve?

The best time to visit is from November to June.

 The park remains closed during the monsoon (usually July to mid-November).

Most zones are closed from July to mid-November due to heavy monsoons and safety concerns.

6. How to book a ticket for safari in Corbett Tiger Reserve?

Yes, mobile phones are allowed but must be kept silent. 

Network coverage is minimal inside the core zones.

8. Can I visit all the zones with one entry permit?

No, one entry permit is valid only for one zone at a time. Separate permits are required for each zone.

9. How can I reschedule my safari permit?

Safari permits are non-transferable and non-refundable. Once booked, the date and zone cannot be changed.

10. How many vehicles are allowed in Corbett Tiger Reserve for day visit?

Each zone has a limited number of vehicles permitted per safari shift (morning/evening) to prevent overcrowding and preserve ecology.

11. How many safaris can be done in a day?

You can do two safaris in a day – one in the morning and one in the evening – subject to availability of permits.

12. Where to stay in Corbett Tiger Reserve?

There are forest rest houses in zones like Dhikala, Bijrani, and Jhirna. 

You can also stay in nearby resorts and hotels in Ramnagar.

13. How to book elephants for rides?

Elephant rides are limited and available only in select zones like Bijrani, subject to availability and weather conditions.
